We are located in Dun Laoghaire, Ireland - a beautiful seaside town just 20 minutes from the heart of Dublin. Our summer school takes place in Holy Child school, 10 minutes away from Dun Laoghaire town centre.

A picturesque seaport with a bustling centre of high fashion and commerce, Dun Laoghaire is the largest sailing and watersports centre in Ireland. Its famous harbour was built between 1817 and 1860 and has two massive piers, the East Pier and the West Pier, 1.3 km and 1.5 km in length respectively. 

The ferry terminal houses a restaurant, shops and the tourist office and is served by the world's largest high speed ferry, the Stena Line HSS. There are four yacht clubs along Dun Laoghaire seafront and an excellent array of shops, pubs and restaurants, including two shopping centres, a 12-screen cinema complex and the vibrant Pavilion Theatre. 

Lighthouse at Dun Laoghaire HarbourDun Laoghaire hosts the renowned Festival of World Cultures on the last weekend of August every year. The Sunday Market in the People's Park is one of the most popular in Dublin.

The area and its surrounding villages are well worth exploring on foot and a series of seven guided walks makes up the Dun Laoghaire Way. There are also special interest trails, including a literary walk (which takes in the James Joyce Martello Tower) and two archaeological trails. The Maritime Museum is on Haigh Terrace; overlooking the seafront is a famous monument to Christ the King by the renowned sculptor Andrew O'Connor. Dun Laoghaire has its own golf course, public tennis courts, bowling green and a sailing school.

Dublin is a beautiful city. Steeped in history, tradition and culture, Dublin's many attractions range from museums and art galleries to the famous Guinness Brewery and Temple Bar. Medieval and Georgian buildings provide the perfect arena for exploring the many shopping centres and places of interest.

Dublin is a thriving cultural centre and was home to the great literary personalities of Shaw, Yeats, Joyce and Beckett. Today it hosts musical talent ranging from the traditional Dubliners and the Chieftains to the more contemporary U2, Van Morrison and Enya.
