Boarding school programme

Our boarding school programme is for students who want to improve their fluency in English by studying in a boarding school in Ireland. Students normally commence participation at the end of August or the beginning of January.

As part of the programme, we provide:

  • Local orientation on arrival
  • A guardianship service including parent-teacher meetings and monthly progress report
  • Placement in a prestigious boys, girls or mixed boarding school with excellent facilities and offering a broad range of subjects within the official curriculum of the Irish Department of Education and Science
  • Full board accommodation in the school’s hall of residence from Monday to Friday and in a carefully selected local host family at weekends, or seven-day full board accommodation in the school’s hall of residence (excluding Christmas and Easter holidays)
  • Textbooks and copies
  • School and sports uniform (excluding shoes, runners or football boots)
  • Arrival and departure airport transfers and Christmas / Easter transfers where applicable
  • Final school report

The fee for this service, which includes the school fees, is available on application. Please note that our fee does not include the following:

  • Flights
  • Pocket money
  • School bag, pens, pencils, calculator, maths set
  • Bus/rail fares
  • School shoes, sport shoes, football boots
  • Medical Insurance (Students must bring EHIC – European Health Insurance Card)
  • State exam fees
  • Other transfers
